Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is located on the west bank of river Chao Phraya. A landmark Buddhist temple with very impressive architecture and landscaped gardens. Travel across with a water taxi. A small information, the express boat does not go directly to Wat Arun. First go to Tha Tien, get off and take a different cross-river ferry to Arun. Don't forget to collect beautiful artifacts, curios and postcards.
